Join us for "Unlocking the Future: Supporting Student Success.” During this virtual evening families will receive essential resources and strategies to support their child for the upcoming Georgia Milestones Assessment, hear directly from the Office of Counseling, College, and Career on how to best support their child's academic journey, gain insights into various programs designed to maximize student performance, and provide input for the District Family and Community Engagement Plan. Each year, to help improve our schools, Gwinnett County Public Schools collects feedback from families, students, and staff members about their school experiences. This year, the school district is giving Educational Effectiveness Surveys to gather feedback on nine key characteristics of high-performing schools. GCPS staff can participate from February 2–27.. 

The Student Survey is administered February 2 through February 27 for students in grades 3-12 during the school day and is available in the Student Portal. (Students in grade 3 will only take the Wellness screener.) Please visit www.gcpsk12.org/families/surveys to learn more about the survey, review the questions, or find out about the opt-out process if you do not wish for your student to participate.

The Family Survey is open from February 2 through March 6. GCPS will send parents an email link to the survey on February 2. The survey is available on our district website at www.gcpsk12.org/families/surveys. The survey—available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese—also will be available in the Parent Portal.

ITC students can continue learning and practicing English from home two Saturdays every month.  Read the information below to learn more about ITC Saturday School, which is a free learning session open to all families.

Who? All ITC students are invited to join the session.

What? Virtual learning session on Zoom with an ITC teacher to practice reading, speaking, and listening in English. Students will practice social language and academic language. Students receive free copies of the books and learning materials the teacher uses after attending the session in order to continue studying English at home.

Where? Online. Students log in using their GCPS Chromebooks.
